Need to repair my threads for spark plug on this engine but thought it might be useful for YBR owners too . i use these V-coil versions

Quite an easy job just be clean and use great to catch the metal filings and take you time make sure you have all tools at the ready and nice clean environment and repairing your Yamaha YBR 125 spark plug threads should be easy
Heli coil set
drill out old threads
I grease a bolts and fish out all the drilling bits and burrs
Now tap out the whole
again grease end to catch any cuttings
i then blow out hole
now fit the thread
and break off the fitting tab
fit spark plug tighten and test
